BEHIND THE CROSS IS MY INTERIOR WEALTH

The Almighty and all-knowing God invites all souls to discover even in minute things His message of love.  All of us were created for this grandeur and called to respond to it graciously.

As I walk through life’s wonders I begin to decipher the gradual unfolding of the reality of God’s presence in the depth of my being.  There were so many of my experiences especially in Postulancy that somehow made me see myself and upon knowing it, I begin to nurture intimacy with the Lord.  Of course, I have a struggle between God’s will and my self will.  But as morning comes and night draws near I’m always ending my thoughts as to how the Cross (pains, trials, struggles, temptations) liberates me form my worries, anxieties and fears for it teaches me on how to overcome them, to become a strong person and to trust in God rather than on my own self.

In the series of events that happened to me be it joy or in so many struggles, I am still graciously joyful for I understand that God allows them because He who created me knows my hidden strength.  It is on this aspect that I too discovered my interior wealth of deeply trusting the real presence of God in my life.  Yes, sometimes I come to the point of God’s way for God knit our soul in His own design hidden in the mystery of His wisdom and love.

And so among all of us who is constantly battling to become a more radiant witness to the truth, God expects from us to dig strength in our interior life and lovingly rest in the assurance of His love.

Don’t be afraid – “Duc in Altum”  (Put Out Into the Deep).  It is only then that we will realize that we become victorious with the cross!
