Postulant: In His Time

“After all what’s next?” Some are asking, many are waiting and we still don’t know but challenged. We don’t know yet what’s the next mysterious scene God would like to reveal for us. As the months pass by He whispers to each one of us to heal our woundedness and learn the dynamics of love. Yes, it’s difficult and quite hard to imitate the love we need to inflict to those enemies who became the source of our hardships, trials and struggles in our journey. However, if we deepen and open widely both our horizon and sacred part of our body — the heart there’s no such thing as. enemy. Only that we are trap by this low self-image and exactly the main problem is self — ‘Myself’ which sometimes pushes us to selfishness instead of selflessness because we do not know yet how to handle it with care.

It was then, the great revelation happened in our time living as Postulants. Many tears had been wasted because of pains and sometimes fears. Maybe we’ve locked our doors and failed to open our inner sensitivity. There were times also that we were bombarded with thoughts and unreasonable reasons but then thanks to the Most High that we had received the sufficient grace of God which is overflowing through the miracles and mysterious events we had encountered in our journey. We’d felt that life here is more valuable and remarkable if we totally empty ourselves and open it for changes. Somewhere, we learned the value of loving one another in a circular way of life not for our sake but for others through Jesus.

Now we could not say that it’s the end anymore and the game is over. Perhaps some of us still have hidden tears of pain and/or tears of joy in leaving this stage but the probable cause is not to become too proud rather to bring home the bacon wherever we might be after this. Otherwise, we are lost if we do not have self-denial, self-emptying and humility in short the dynamics of love. Love is really worthwhile if we learn to use and apply it properly. It’s a dare for us to take risks to feel not to be on the peak but to go down deeper beyond the qualities we had acquired from the time we had responded to God’s call and live Postulancy. Through this best choice we could move freely and feel the glow of true happiness within us.

Furthermore, it’s not effective whoever we are the important is how deep is our love and how many miles we have taken along that crossroads wherein we have lifted Christ on high in His precious time. We admit that we were full of self but as we continue to take our journey we do believe that nothing is efficient now except our welcoming attitude towards the diversity of love that God pour down to each one of us at a proper place in His fullness of time.
